Outdoor Education

The Outdoor & Environmental Education course is only available at Burnaby Mountain Secondary.

The 4 credit course provides students with opportunities to explore new environments, build outdoor skills and build connections to local & global environments.

Students do activities such as HIKING, CAMPING, KAYAKING, ORIENTEERING, SNOWSHOEING & explore a variety of outdoor settings.

Some trips will occur during school hours and others may extend into some evenings and weekends. A course activity fee will be collected to cover trip and equipment expenses for the year.
