September 2018 Intake is now open

We are closed for the following Elementary schools for September 2018 applications;

  • Brentwood Park
  • Buckingham
  • Taylor Park

Please Note: Elementary school placement results will be available in (May 2018).  While we will make every attempt to place your student in one of their preferred schools we cannot guarantee your student will be placed in one these schools.  Please be aware that there is No Full Refund if a student is not assigned to one of their requested schools.

 

The following schools are NOT accepting Grade 8 students;

  • Burnaby Central
  • Moscrop
  • Burnaby South

For new international students who apply for entering Grade 10 and above we always recommend they study at a semester school as students need to earn credits toward graduation requirements as soon as possible and the semester schools offer more flexibility in class scheduling.

The following three are SEMESTER schools:

  • Alpha
  • Byrne
  • Burnaby Central (CLOSED FOR FEB 2018 APPLICATION)

Please be sure to have all of the required documents completed and uploaded for your application as we will be automatically declining incomplete applications.

January 2018 – Applications now OPEN

We are currently accepting applications for our January/February 2018 intakes for both elementary and secondary schools.

We are closed for the following Elementary schools for January 2018 applications;

  • Aubrey
  • Brantford
  • Brentwood Park
  • Buckingham
  • Chaffey-Burke
  • Douglas Road
  • Lochdale
  • Marlborough
  • Nelson
  • Taylor Park

We will be closing Elementary Intake for January 2018 by November 24th, Friday except Grade 3 is now full and closed.

  • Burnaby Mountain
  • Byrne Creek

The following schools are NOT accepting Grade 8 students;

  • Burnaby Central (Closed for all Grades)
  • Moscrop
  • Burnaby North
  • Burnaby South

Age Requirements to Apply

Please note we do not accept applications from students who turn 18 years of age before July 1st of the calendar year in which they want to start. While our age limit is 17 years, we strongly recommend students wishing to graduate start at a younger age in order to have a better chance at success.

Students who turn 18 years of age before December 31st and are interested in earning an Adult High School Diploma can apply to study at our Adult High School. For more information about this, please contact burnabycce@sd41.bc.ca
