How often are report cards issued, and when?

There are 4 reporting periods at secondary schools.  Secondary school report cards, with the exception of final Gr. 12 report cards, will be available for parents and students on-line

Does the Burnaby School District assist in the revalidation of report cards when required?

Yes.

Who should I contact if I have a question about my child’s progress or attendance?

For secondary school students, parents or custodians should contact their child’s International Student Assistant (ISA), the school Vice Principal, or school counsellor. For elementary students, parents or custodians should contact the child’s teacher or the school principal.

Can parents access their child’s marks and progress online?

Yes, with the new My Ed BC school system, parents will be able to access their child’s marks and progress online through the Parent Portal option of the program.
